I work as a Leasehold Officer within the Leasehold Services Department of The Gateshead Housing Company (TGHC). Leasehold Services act as “Managing Agents” on behalf of Gateshead Council providing a variety of services to Leaseholders. Within my role I am responsible for dealing with enquiries in relation to invoices, transfer of leasehold properties, arrears collection and the co-ordination of the production of the quarterly repairs and maintenance statements. I started work for The Gateshead Housing Company in July 2005 after previously working for a private company in the accounts department.
I have experienced several roles within TGHC including purchasing, creditors and debtors and system development, which have greatly developed my overall skills. This enabled me to further my career development within the Company. The things I enjoy most about working for the Company are the variety of tasks within my role and working for a company that continually strives to provide an ever improving quality of service to it’s customers. The Company also encourages work/life balance through flexible working, helping me to enjoy social activities.
